What is Special about this DVD?
This is an English language, All Regions, Widescreen version of an Asian influenced re-imagining of the Hollywood sci-fi hit, "Species". A snake-like alien that can quickly adapt to human society escapes destruction at the hands of a team of scientists. Taking the form of a beautiful, young woman, the creature seeks food and a way to fertilize her eggs. This import release is approximately 9 minutes longer than the US release.

Carrie Ng stars as a half woman, half snake out to reproduce and then kick some human ass. She is befriended by a kindly man who lost his wife, and treats her very well. Unfortunately, his cousin is deeply in debt to loan sharks, and is developing biological insecticide.  The idea is to mutate some bugs to kill others, eventually eradicating pests forever. His scientist suspects what is going on, but not in time to save him.

Plot Summary
When a team of Japanese scientists doing a biological study on the country's underground sewage system discover a clutch of otherworldly looking eggs, in their panic they set about destroying them.

However, unbeknown to them one of the eggs hatches a strange reptilian creature which takes on the human form of a beautiful young woman.

Her primary impulse is to breed... then kill!
