All Credit Card Transactions are billed in $US:
All credit card payments are currently processed in $US. We make pricing available in other currencies and if you choose to mail payment, orders can be processed in those currencies. If you choose to pay by credit card please be aware that the transaction will post in the $US equivalent and that the currency exchange rate that your credit card company applies to the transaction may cause you to pay more in your currency than what you see on our site. Unless you pay by mail, please refer to prices that you see in EUR or GBP as being for approximation purposes only.
Return and Refund Poliy:
Because we primarily deal in imported products which are unfeasible to ship back to our suppliers around the World, we are unable to offer traditional returns or exchanges. Please make sure that you have read all the details about any product you purchase from us because all sales are final, with the exception of products that we, as the seller, determine after testing to be defective. There is no satisfaction guarantee, etc, so if a customer does not understand the description, it is the customers responsibility to not purchase the item, or bear the risk of dissatisfaction.
Defective Products:
If you believe that you may have received a defective product, we recommend you first reach our customer service at ellen@rarelicenseddvds.com with a description of the exact problem (error messages, etc). We will attempt to troubleshoot 1st, in order to reduce any risk of you sending non-defective product back. If you at any time wish for us to actually test a product, you may request a defective product exchange form by e-mailing customer service at ellen@rarelicenseddvds.com Please be aware that there is a service fee (currently $10 US or 6 GBP) in addition to shipping if we test a product for you and that product is not defective. Payment of that fee would be due within 10 days for the item to be shipped back to the customer. Anything we receive back without a completed and compliant form is immediately discarded, at no responsibility to our company. It is fully the customers responsibility to comply with the requirements of the defective product form.
Shipments Not Received:
It is our responsibility to process your shipment to the address you provide. To guarantee successful delivery, please choose the insured option during checkout. Approximately 1 out of 500 shipments is lost in transit. In such situations where a shipment is lost and the customer had declined the insured option, we are willing to compromise on the burden of replacement and make a 2nd shipment at ½ price. If this is NOT an acceptable compromise in such situations, do not accept this return policy. By accepting this policy, the seller and buyer agree that it is the responsibility of the seller to maintain a shipping receipt but that the receipt does not have to prove actual delivery unless the customer chose insured shipment.
By accepting this return and refund policy and continuing with your purchase you are accepting that our company has full control of the application of this policy. The customer expressly waives all rights to any remedy associated with non-receipt / not-as-described / damaged products, etc. If you do not feel comfortable with the credibility and reputation of the seller, do not complete your purchase.
