What is Special about this DVD? This is a fabulous Widescreen version of a rare but fabulous entertaining movie. Sex and humor mix well, and this movie is a great mood setter for you and your "orator" -- you'll understand that joke when you see the film. Plot Summary This is one of the funiest, most outrageous sex farces of all times! It is like "American Pie" for grown-ups Melinda and Dan are a dysfunctional couple, with Dan needing Viagra... but not with a waitress he's been banging! As some will tell you, the biggest sex organ is between your ears. The film starts out with shrink Dr. Roger Klink breaking into a motel room (where Melinda and Dan are "getting reaquainted") after becoming jealous, because of his emotional bond, due to the affair he is having with Melinda. Skirting appropriate relationships with their patients, Melinda and Dan, get at best questionable couseling from Connie, Dr. Klink and Dr. Paige, who each have their own agendas. Getting all of the relationships straight is a laugh a minute and it's fun to see Boyle yucking it up and having fun in something other than the serious TV show, "The Practice." (Both have nudity in this film). Perhaps even better are the voyeuristic / peeping / oral sex and spoken script of speaking of sex! The only way to describe this film is like "American Pie" for grown-ups. The Male "Skin Factor": Jay Mohr and James Spader bare their buns... and Jay is hilarious running around a hotel room in his tighty whities when he is dressed.
